The balance between life and death is in a forever flux, always an interactive force between the earth and all its inhabitants. The fossil as a phenomenon reminds us of the fact that we make a physical mark on the earth. For a moment we live but the mark of our lives still remains as an aftermath.

Food is an inevitable part of life and what has always made us aware that we are a part of an ecosystem. With the industrialisation of food the balance has been ruptured and we lose our direct contact with the earth and the sense of our dependence.
